Executive Director Message

KasandraThank you for visiting the website for Katie’s Kause for Cystic Fibrosis.

We hope you take time to explore out site, learn about cystic fibrosis and find ways you can get involved with our mission: To provide emotional support and temporary financial assistance for children with cystic fibrosis and their families.

We support the national foundations in their work to find a cure for CF as this is very important to us as well, but Katie’s Kause for Cystic Fibrosis focuses on the here & now! We step into the "gap" between finding a cure and living day to day with cystic fibrosis. We provide support to local families facing the daily challenges of cystic fibrosis, the high costs of their life continuing drug therapies, transportation to their clinic appointments and hospitalizations at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Hospital, both in Portland, Oregon, housing and utilities costs and tutoring services to keep them moving forward in their education. We service families living in Oregon and Washington, so these families who battle everyday against cystic fibrosis and face at times the financial burden a cystic fibrosis diagnosis brings to a family, they are your neighbors, classmates of your children, co-workers and friends.
It’s easy to take action and make a difference in the life of a child with cystic fibrosis right here in your own community. You can host an event, donate goods & services, volunteer with our organization, make an online donation or attend an educational or fundraising event. We want to connect with you so please follow us on social media @katieskause4cf or email us at .

We appreciate your support and thank you for joining us to help children with cystic fibrosis
